Hotels best suited to business travelers in Lima's financial and business districts. For most business trips to Peru, the hotel does more than provide a bed. It is often where you work, host a meeting and start and end each day in a city with heavy traffic. Most of the business-oriented hotels in our Lima guides sit in two neighboring districts: San Isidro, Lima's financial district, and Miraflores, on the oceanfront. This guide compares the two, explains what to look for in a business hotel, and covers selected five-star hotels, meeting facilities and airport access.

Why Business Hotels Matter in Lima
On a business trip, your hotel is usually more than a place to sleep. It may host a breakfast meeting, provide a business center for printing or calls, serve as a base between appointments, and arrange the transfer that gets you to the airport on time.
Lima is a large city, and the time needed to move between districts changes a great deal with the hour of the day. An airport transfer that takes 30 to 45 minutes in light traffic can take considerably longer at rush hour. That is why choosing a hotel that fits your meeting schedule is one of the most useful planning decisions you can make.
The choice usually comes down to two districts: San Isidro, the financial district, and Miraflores, an oceanfront district with many hotels, restaurants and shops. The right hotel depends less on which property is "best" in general than on where your meetings are, which facilities you need, and how much travel between appointments you can absorb.
Miraflores for Business Travelers
Miraflores sits on Lima's coast, along the cliff-top Malecón. Its hotels are concentrated along and near the Malecón, around the Larcomar shopping center and Kennedy Park, with restaurants, shops and parks within walking distance.
For business travelers, Miraflores is a practical base if your meetings are not concentrated in San Isidro and you want dining, shopping and the coastline close by after work. It is also where the stops of the Airport Express Lima bus, the airport's official bus service, are located (see the airport section below).
Two Miraflores hotels in our guide list dedicated business facilities in public listings:
- JW Marriott Hotel Lima (Malecón de la Reserva 615) lists a 24-hour business center and meeting rooms, a short walk from Larcomar and the Malecón.
- Hilton Lima Miraflores (Av. La Paz 1099) lists a 24-hour business center and sits near Kennedy Park and Love Park.
The trade-off is distance from San Isidro's offices. The two districts are neighbors, but the drive between them varies with traffic, so plan meeting times accordingly.

San Isidro for Business Travelers
San Isidro is Lima's financial district and a mixed business and residential area, with banks, corporate offices and embassies. Staying here can shorten your daily travel if your meetings are in the district. The hotels in our San Isidro table are described by nearby landmarks including Javier Prado Avenue, El Olivar Park, the Lima Golf Club and the Real Business Center complex (Centro Empresarial Real).
A few San Isidro hotels in our guide stand out for business travelers:
- The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center opened in 2011. According to the hotel, it has the largest convention center in Lima, with capacity for up to 1,600 people and 19 spaces for meetings, events and weddings.
- Swissôtel Lima is located within the Centro Empresarial Real complex (Vía Central 150) and lists a business center and meeting rooms.
- DoubleTree by Hilton Lima San Isidro (Av. Arequipa 2960) is a newer property, listed as opened in 2024, with a business center and meeting rooms. It is a smaller hotel than the Westin, so check meeting-room capacity if you are planning a group event.
- Country Club Lima Hotel (Los Eucaliptos 590) is a historic property, listed as built in 1927, near the Lima Golf Club. Public listings show a business center and meeting rooms.
- Meliá Lima completes our San Isidro table; it is described as near Real Plaza Salaverry.
The trade-off is that San Isidro is primarily a business district. The Westin's own website describes Miraflores as about 15 minutes away, which is useful for evening plans, though actual times depend on traffic.
What to Look for in a Business Hotel
Consistency matters more than novelty on a work trip. Use this checklist when comparing hotels:
- Location relative to your meetings. Start from where you need to be, not from the hotel's rating. Travel time between Lima's districts varies widely with the hour.
- Business center and meeting rooms. Confirm opening hours, fees, capacity and availability on your dates. Some hotels list a 24-hour business center; others do not.
- Connectivity. Ask about in-room Wi-Fi and whether internet in meeting rooms carries a separate charge.
- Room set-up. Check that rooms include a proper work desk if you will be working from the room.
- Loyalty program recognition. Several hotels in this guide belong to international hotel groups (Marriott, Hilton, Accor and IHG). If you hold status, check with the program whether it is recognized and which benefits apply.
- Airport transfer and transport arrangements. Some hotels list airport transfers among their services. Ask about vehicles, fees and how the driver will meet you.
- Current star category and facilities. Star classifications vary between rating systems and booking platforms, and facilities change over time. Confirm the current category and services with the hotel before you book.

If you are organizing a meeting rather than only attending one, ask the hotel about:
- room capacity for your layout (theater, classroom, boardroom or reception style)
- audiovisual equipment and technical support
- catering options and dietary requirements
- opening hours, fees and availability on your dates

Airport Access and Executive Transportation
Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) is in Callao. Its new single passenger terminal opened on June 1, 2025.
Travel time between the airport and Lima's hotel districts depends heavily on traffic. Traveler guides give figures from roughly 30 to 75 minutes to Miraflores in normal conditions, and longer at rush hour. Individual hotel listings show widely different drive times, so treat any single figure as a rough guide and build in a buffer, especially for departures.
Your main options:
- Official airport taxi desks. Taxis in Lima generally are not metered, so agree the fare before you get in. Booking at an official desk inside the terminal lets you settle the price in advance.
- Pre-booked private transfer or hotel-arranged car. A driver is expected at arrivals. Confirm the meeting point, the vehicle and the fee with the provider or hotel in advance. Some hotels list airport transfers among their services.
- Ride-hailing apps. Apps such as Uber and Cabify operate in Lima. You will need mobile data, and pick-up is from a designated area rather than the arrivals door.
- Airport Express Lima. This is the airport's official bus service. Its stops are in Miraflores: Larcomar/Marriott, the Tourist Information Center on Av. Larco, Kennedy Park and Hotel Boulevard. None of the listed stops is in San Isidro.
Stay inside the terminal until you meet your verified transport, and avoid unregistered drivers who approach you. For step-by-step detail, see our Lima Airport Guide (Jorge Chávez, 2026) and How to Get from Lima Airport to Miraflores.
For moving between meetings, ask your hotel whether it can arrange a car with a driver and how far ahead to book. Otherwise, use ride-hailing apps or a fare agreed in advance rather than hailing a cab on the street.
Choosing the Right Area
| If your priority is… | Consider |
|---|---|
| Meetings with banks, corporate offices or embassies | San Isidro, the financial district |
| Hosting or attending an event at a convention venue on site | The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center (San Isidro) |
| Restaurants, shopping and the coastline within walking distance after work | Miraflores |
| Using the Airport Express Lima bus | Miraflores; all of the airport's listed bus stops are there |
| Using hotel loyalty status | Match your program to the hotel group: Marriott (JW Marriott, Westin), Hilton (Hilton Lima Miraflores, DoubleTree), Accor (Swissôtel, Pullman) or IHG (SOUMA Lima) |
| Meetings split between both districts | Either district; base yourself near your most important or earliest meeting, and allow for traffic |
Practical Takeaway
Choose your hotel around your meetings, not the other way around. San Isidro suits a schedule concentrated in the financial district; Miraflores suits travelers who want dining, shopping and the coast nearby. A short checklist:
- Decide the district by where your meetings are.
- Confirm business-center hours, meeting-room capacity and fees directly with the hotel.
- Check the hotel's current star category, facilities and rates on the booking platform before you book.
- Arrange your airport transfer in advance and build time buffers around flights and meetings.
- Book early if your trip coincides with a trade fair or conference.
